(via journeystories)

I recently lost my dog to cancer, I loved her very much, and had a hard time coping with the loss. A few days after her death, I bought “Journey” to try and cope with her death.
As I played, I spent all of my journey with a another player, and as silly as it sounds, I imagined I was guiding my dog to her paradise, which made the journey all the more meaningful. When I had reached the end, I gave a mental farewell, and my heart didn’t feel so heavy afterwards.
I still miss my dog, and I feel like if Journey wasn’t there when it was, I would still be mourning her heavily, Thank you Sony, and may my dog rest in peace.

I played Journey for the second time today and man is it worth the $15. My favorite part is how in the beginning desert stage you can actually see shooting stars coming from the holy mountain and a slight shake in the controller when they land nearby. [SPOILER]…
